Trust the timing of your life

Perhaps your future spouse is experiencing a season necessary in order for them to become the person they will need to be in order to be a good partner. Take into consideration if you are feeling behind, especially at a time where nearly two birthdays of your life have been consumed by a Pandemic Era, that God still has a plan for your life at purposeful timing. It tends to go that when you are younger and want to pursue marriage, discouragement from those around you will arise because they feel you are too immature, yet then within a few years those same voices will become perplexed if you are not married by a certain age. Perhaps equally if not more than careers and jobs, marriage and family planning becomes another place of expectation by a certain age. Remember as well, Jesus did not begin His ministry until He was thirty, yet the season of His ministry on earth was so exact that all of human history hinges upon that specific time. Surrendering to Him and following the doors He opens may not always make sense in the present moment, but when you look in retrospect it will become clear how there was always a purpose, always a plan, and always a reason. God often uses jobs as stepping stones to the next season or chapter in a life. Many positions or jobs will lead to other opportunities, connections with others, or personal growth within, and that is nothing to discount. God has perfect timing, and when we invite Him into every corner of our lives for direction that is where and when we see this timing made fully intentional. For many, this stress can become overwhelming, but that is where we must invite God into the equation. There is an unspoken tension that in order to feel as if we are on track in life, we must have a certain title, salary, or rank in the workforce by a certain age. What’s meant for us will always stay, despite all challenges, despite all difficulties, and despite all resistance.Especially in America, there tends to be a pressure to go, go, go, and this mentality is often applied towards careers and jobs. It will make the journey a little sweeter to look back on. It may take a lot of patience, a lot of overcoming challenges, moments of despair, and a lot of heartbreaks, but what’s meant for you will always be worth the wait. We may not see or understand the whole picture now, but when it’s done, we will understand that every stroke had a purpose, we’ll see how every little dot came together to create something meaningful, something worth looking at, something worth remembering. While we may never know why God does things a certain way or why he chooses to teach us some hard lessons, we have to believe that it’s all part of a bigger plan. God doesn’t take away blessings from us unless he knows it’s not going to bless us in the future.

You see, God doesn’t make us suffer for no good reason. teaching me many lessons giving me clear insights into my life, character, and overall being. It took me a while to come out of my shell and learn to develop myself spiritually and mentally, from finally making time to make my dreams a reality, working hard on creating my blog from scratch, I’m talking designing to content creation along with social media on the side, though it took a while I was finally able to make a brand for myself, and get recognized by brands and to be able to collaborate with them and making a living.Īll I can say is that when I look back in time I’m so grateful for where I am in life now.

In 2014 circumstances changed, life situations changed, and were quite down and low questioning myself, if things took a turn for the worse, am I of no value? Lucky for me, the support of my family was the pillar of my courage and strength which helped me move forward in life. I was busy juggling my corporate life, studies, and marriage it was quite hard for me to achieve or have any other interests let alone design or maintain a blog. Take me as an example, Blogging had always been my passion, from high school ever since I first set my eyes on Michelle Phan’s youtube videos and blog posts along with my other favorite bloggers, I knew to blog was the thing I always wanted to do but unfortunately never had the time or opportunity to.
